I have spent a long time trying to understand mindpower and how it relates to the creation of your life through your thoughts. I have looked at what you should focus on and what you shouldn’t, and why. And I have come to the following conclusion: you need to focus on gratitude.
Why?
Gratitude is focusing on what you already have. Wishing is focusing on what you don’t have. By focusing on what you already have, you develop genuine feelings of joy (not fake feelings of joy). And these genuine feelings create vibrations that pull other (similar) things in.
So, whatever you want, imagine that you already have it. And then be grateful for having it.
It’s like that question about confidence. Where does it come from? Do you need to accomplish things first and then be confident because you have achieved them or does the confidence precede the accomplishment? Well, I think confidence precedes accomplishment and these people feel confident because, in their minds, they have already achieved what it is they are about to attempt.
And the converse is true too. When people fear losing, they act as if they have already lost. They feel the embarrassment, the shame, the shock of the loss before it’s actually happened. And these vibrations draw in exactly that reality. Which is why you have to be so careful about what you focus on and what feelings you generate.
Take away:
Whatever it is you want, imagine you already have it. How would you feel? Feel those feelings. How would you walk? Walk (strut?) the way you would if you already have it. How would you talk? Talk the way you would if you already have it. Do this and pretty soon, your reality will match your beliefs.
And the cool thing is, there are endless things to be grateful for. Just take a look around.
